  1. I wish I could still get the Bluebonnet Books. I miss that list! Maybe I can start picking out a few to have on my Children's shelf. I bet the high schoolers would really enjoy them!

  2. I would love to have a set of Bluebonnets because our promotion of the program has been very successful. I would like to continue to encourage students to read as many books from the list as possible, and having the extra set would aid in circulating more copies.

  3. I know that they are geared toward elementary, but I would love to have a set here at AC New and promote both the Lone Star and the Bluebonnet books. My students and teachers still utilize lower level books in numerous ways. The teachers use them as tools to teach because they are more easily fit into a 45 minute time slot, and the students still love them as well. Several of the upper level Bluebonnets are really popular with our 6th graders, especially our 4 Bilingual classes! Funny that you posted this today...I ran book trailers in the library all day from both lists :)

  5. I would love to have an extra set of Bluebonnet Books for my Book Club. We read some of the non-fiction together and listen to some of the chapter books on audio. However, since my book club is so big, I don't have enough books for all of them to be able to choose a book for independent reading.

  6. I would love to have another set of Bluebonnet Books! They are perfect examples when my teachers are asking for a variety of styles and genres due to them preparing for the STAAR test.

  7. With Ready-Set-Teach on our campus, we often need children's books for our students planning to be teachers. Our E section really needs beefing up and a set of Bluebonnet Books would be very helpful!

  9. Beasley students are clamoring for more Bluebonnet books! We have a huge class competition going on, where classes compete to locate previously selected quotes from each of the Bluebonnets. Quotes were printed on bright paper, laminated, cut out, and posted on the bulletin board by hard-working students. Other students previewed the books and shot book promotion videos which were combined into an iMovie and shown to 3-6 classes. We're looking for ways to get all the copies we can, because our students are ON FIRE for Bluebonnets!

  10. Shaw needs more Bluebonnet books because I only have one set and that's just not cutting it. I have a few extra copies of some of the books, but another full set would put these great books in the hands of more kids.

  11. I would love to have another set of Bluebonnets because my readers are checking out the Bluebonnets faster than I can keep them checked in! They are eating them up (figuratively speaking!) Please, please choose Thompson readers! =-)
