Mark your calendar - Library Summit 2012

Greetings!  Please mark your calendars and share the following information with your library staff!
We would like to invite all members of the Library Services Cooperative to attend the 2nd annual Library Summit.

The focus of this year's summit will be on  transliteracy which has been defined as "the ability to read, write and interact across a range of platforms, tools and media from signing and orality through handwriting, print, TV, radio and film, to digital social networks."  Obviously, this covers much of what we do in our profession. 




What:  The 2nd Annual Library Summit co-sponsored by Dallas ISD Library Services and Region 10 Library Services Cooperative

Where:  Dallas ISD--Bryan Adams High School 2101 Millmar Dr.  Dallas, TX 75228

When:  Thursday, August 16th from 8:00-4:00

Who:    All members of the Region 10 Library Services Cooperative

Why:  Keynote speaker Dr. Ross Todd, {http://comminfo.rutgers.edu/~rtodd/}  break out sessions conducted by colleagues in the field, professional networking and more!
