Region 10 2015 Technology Conference

TCEA is going on this week in Austin and some of our MISD friends are in attendance. If you weren't able to go this year (or even if you were), you might want to consider going to Region 10's Annual Technology Conference. The info below is from the email that I received about the event:

The Region 10 21st Annual Technology Conference is now officially open for registration. For over twenty years, passionate educators have gathered at Region 10 to share the latest trends and best practices in instructional technology. Join us in 2015 and help us celebrate our 21st anniversary--Vegas style! This year, the Tech Conference is comprised of two (2) days.
Day 1 is a pre-conference workshop designed for leadership teams in your district. Leadership teams will come prepared with questions, goals and a desire to retool your vision for your school/district; and leave with actionable plans to reimagine learning in the classroom using technology more effectively. A light lunch will be served. Each team of five (5) may attend for a flat rate of $250.

Day 2 is the traditional conference that is free for all educators. This annual event brings together inspiring teachers, campus and district leaders to share practical digital learning tools and strategies to create engaging classrooms and life-long learners. Be prepared to enjoy connecting and learning from some of the best teachers in Texas in over 50 engaging sessions throughout the day! Find even more fun in our digital learning playground, where networking and hands-on play time is encouraged! Gourmet coffee and lunch from local food trucks will be here again this year! This event is a can't-miss for educators in the Region 10 area!

Please note: to register for the tech conference or any event at Region 10, please use Internet Explorer or Safari. We are currently having a few technical difficulties with other browsers in our Calendar of Events system. Our tech department is working on the issue and hopes to have it resolved soon.
