From Terry Roper, Region 10 Library Consultant:
Hello All. I hope your 2016-2017 school year is off to a lovely start! I have attached the Fall listing of learning opportunities for distribution. Registration is now open for these sessions.
In addition to the face-to-face sessions listed on the flyer, we are also moving into more user-based learning opportunities so will be scheduling Slow Twitter chats to conduct virtual book studies of professional articles and books. We will utilize professional e-books and peer-reviewed journal resources in TexQuest to be cost-effective. We will also offer facilitated discussions of selected TEDTalks to encourage librarians to be aware of current issues, strategies, and thought-provoking ideas in order to better support students in the library.
